This user-friendly deadbolt offers the convenience of 1-touch locking with a simple press of the programming button. Installation is straightforward, requiring only a Phillips head screwdriver, and it's compatible with both left and right-handed doors. Designed for security, it features a failed attempt alarm that sounds and flashes red after four incorrect code attempts, temporarily shutting down the keypad for 30 seconds. The lock fits door thicknesses from 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches and includes an adjustable latch for 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 inch backsets. Battery-operated for easy setup, it requires four AA alkaline batteries (not included) and comes complete with all necessary installation hardware and two traditional keys. This lock has a faceplate height of 4.75 inches, a projection of 2 inches, a strike plate height of 1.75 inches, a faceplate depth of 1 inch and width of 3 inches, and a strike plate width of 1.5 inches.
